Refunds may be given on monthly prepaid remaining balance.Driving and mileage -- When I am hired, you are paying for my professionalism, expertise and my time. I do not charge for drive time, but I do need to take it into consideration, with how I do my drive schedule and how I price my services with certain distances. I try to stay within 7 miles of my home office. I service most of Dracut, also some parts of Lowell and Tyngsboro, that are right on the border. With drive time, 3-7 mile trips can take 15-25 minutes to get to each pet. A half hour pet visit can be 45 minutes to over an 1 hour total, with driving and traffic. With prime time only being about 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Mon - Fri. I try make my weekly routes close together as possible. Anything over 3 miles is $30/$35 minimum for 30 min.I try to be very consistent with the time that I come for the visits, on a daily or weekly basis. I do require a 1 or 2 hour window that I can come (example: between 11am and 1pm). Especially In case of emergencies, major traffic or last minute pet calls.Last minute bookings -- I do accept last minute calls/requests or more sporadic walks/visits but there are no guarantees that I will be able to fit it in (especially between about 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Mon - Fri). Some days have more wiggle room than others. I always try to be flexible and do my best to move things around to make it work, but it is not always possible. I am in certain areas at certain times of the day, so I may not always be available at a specific times. There is no last minute fee to book me but there will be a cancellation fee. I do my weekly schedule on Sundays and get the visits/walks locked in. If I need to move my schedule around for a last minute request(s) (any time after Sunday evening) and it is cancelled, there will be a partial fee or full price of the visit.Safety -- If a dog becomes aggressive or dangerous to work with, or if I get bit or feel the potential to be bit, the dogs owner will be contacted right away. If they can not be reached, the emergency contact will be called. The contract will be terminated right away for any dangerous situation and dog owner may be liable for medical costs if dog bites myself or anyone else. Owner must disclose any food aggression, guarding, small animal prey drive, any behavior that may put myself or others in harm. If dog is aggressive and has a potential to bite, they need to wear a muzzle on walks. All information helps me know your dog better and be able to work with them more properly. I also must be informed of any sickness, disease or parasites that could be transmitted to others. All dogs/pets must be up to date on their Rabies vaccine. Other vaccines (or titer testing) are recommended based on lifestyle.- I do not provide overnight job sharing with others or having others sleeping in the property at the same time. Pawsitively Bliss can not be held liable for other people on the property or caring for the pets. I can only be liable for the time frame I am hired, if no one else is on the property at the time and not caring for the pet. I can not be held liable for injury of pets when I am not on the property. Please inform me if others are caring for the pets, have keys or may be in or around the property during my scheduled visits.- In the winter time (snow and ice), fall (leaves) and any other time, I must safely be able to park my car or get in and out of driveways, up stairs, etc. If pet owner is away on vacation, please arrange for the driveway to be plowed, leaves to be raked/blown or notify me on a safe place to park. Make sure stairways are not blocked or dangerous. Please inform me of any icy spots or concerns that I need to be aware of on the property. If a plow service or other services to keep property safe are not set up, client will have to pay for Pawsitively Bliss to find a plow service or other service to make it safe ($150+ fee ). Contact may be terminated, right away, if I am left with unsafe conditions. Emergency contact may be called to take over pet care.- I remain available and open unless there is an active state of emergency storm, dangerous weather, winds, ice or extreme heat. We can move walks/visits to another time or day. Or do more indoor play and short potty break, if there's not a state of emergency. I will not drive in unsafe conditions, such as ice and when the roads reported to be in dangerous conditions.- Emergencies and Veterinary care- I will always contact the pet owner first. Listed emergency contacts second. I require at least 2 reliable emergency contacts, that are able to come right away if necessary, for dog walking and any other pet care/overnights. If an emergency contact becomes unavailable, please let me and add a new reliable contact. In many emergency cases, I will need the emergency contact to be available to come right away to help lift the dog (especially dogs over 50lbs) and/or get to the vet.- If an emergency happens during business hours, the pets veterinarian would be contacted next. If after hours or during overnights, I require pet owners to set up an account with one the local emergency vets, typically I would use Westford 24 hour emergency Hospital or Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn. Which ever one is closest. If it is large dog, the clients emergency contact MUST be available, at any hour, to help.- Veterinarians will not see a dog without the pet owners present (or on the phone) and prefer (may require) to have the pet(s) records, to know how to properly and safely treat them. For overnights (also, any and all pet care) I recommend contacting your regular vet and let them know the dates I would be caring for your pet and have payment on file for emergencies. I am insured, so if I am negligent, the cost may be partially or fully reimbursed. If emergency contact can not be reached or is unavailable, extra fees will apply for veterinary visits, drop off, staying with pet at veterinarian hospital, etc. ($50 up, depending on location of vet, mileage, time spent, etc. unless it was my negligence). You must inform Pawsitively Bliss of any health or behavioral problems/concerns before start date.If you have any que
